The gorgeous Claire with her lovely, intricate ‘updo’, fabulous dress and headpiece, what a lovely morning!
The most beautifully hot summers day ( at last) for the lovely Angela, looking so relaxed and radiant with her vintage look. Her fabulous Ian Stuart dress and the matching flower/headpiece bird cage veil completed her 1950′s ish look!! Angela’s gorgeous skin and eyes made the make up application a breeze! As I left Angela gave me a hug and said, ‘ Christina, are you always this amazing ?!’ How kind! Huge thanks to Chris Giles Photography ( Brighton) for the delightful,
Louise Burton from ‘ Make It Yours’ workshops ( www.makeityoursworkshops.co.uk) planned and beautifully organised this workshop, providing a splendid vintage teatime with yummy home-made scones and cakes, and delicious elderflower juice on a very hot day.
Katy, the wedding planner/organiser for Wakehurst Place Sussex, kindly volunteered to have a 1940′s vintage look, and Jenny from ‘Sussex Life’ magazine
Nicola Downey brilliantly headed the organisation of the hair and make up for the production and the students ( she deserves a medal!), who were all amazing! Sandria Reese supplied and styled the wigs for Gareth and the other fantastic singers and actors, as well as helping on the production. Fran Carter and myself guided and worked with the students with hair and make up for the day. A marvellous, memorable marathon!!
